Forbidden City 紫禁城 - located at the exact center of the ancient city of Beijing, was the imperial palace during the mid-Ming and the Qing Dynasties. Its extensive grounds cover 720,000 square meters, 800 buildings and more than 8,000 rooms.

Summer Palace 頤和園 - UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) declared Summer Palace is an "outstanding expression of the creative art of Chinese landscape garden design, incorporating the works of humankind and nature in a harmonious whole." 70,000 square metres of building space, It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers--three quarters of which is water.

Ming Dynasty Tombs 明朝十三陵 - Thirdteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty, are located some 50 kilometers due North of Beijing. 13 Ming Dynasty Emperors were buried in this area.

The Great wall of China 萬里長城 - The Great Wall is the world's longest man-made structure, stretching over a formidable 6,352 km. Same as the above locations, it is in the list of World Heritage Site as well.
